Years of Expertise & Professionalism

At Break The Chain, LLC, we bring a deep commitment to professionalism, trauma-informed care, and family-centered practice. Backed by nearly a decade of combined experience in child protection and behavioral health, our founder has worked extensively on complex dependency cases and family support services.

While we are currently a small but mighty operation, our standards reflect the professionalism and structure of larger organizations, always with a personalized, community-rooted touch.

Areas of Practice

Break The Chain, LLC operates at the intersection of child welfare, family support, and community wellness. We serve families who are navigating the complexities of the dependency system, offering trauma-informed, non-judgmental guidance rooted in real-world experience. Our work helps reduce family conflict, improve outcomes for children, and bridge the gap between systems and the people they serve. By fostering safety, stability, and understanding, we aim to be a trusted support for families during times of hardship.

What We Do

Mission

Break The Chain, LLC exists to support and empower families involved in the child welfare system by providing compassionate, evidence-informed services that prioritize safety, healing, and long-term stability. We aim to break the cycle of intergenerational trauma by offering family-centered support, education, and connection at every stage of the reunification journey.

Vision

We envision a community where all families—regardless of their past—are given the opportunity, tools, and support to heal, grow, and thrive. A future where systems are navigable, relationships are restored, and children are raised in environments that nurture safety, resilience, and hope.

Goals

Partner With Systems to Innovate Family Support
Collaborate with child welfare agencies, community-based care organizations, courts, and service providers to strengthen family-centered pathways and reduce re-entry into care.

Support Reunification Through Capacity Building
Deliver non-clinical, capacity-based coaching and peer support that aligns with the Florida DCF Family Functioning Assessment (FFA) to help parents understand and meet safety thresholds for reunification.

Promote Safe, Meaningful Parent-Child Connections
Facilitate supervised visitation, monitored exchanges, and reunification-focused interventions that strengthen attachment, reduce harm, and support long-term relational healing.

Empower Families with Knowledge and Navigation Tools
Provide system navigation education, case support, and caregiver coaching to reduce confusion, build self-advocacy, and promote informed participation in court and child welfare processes.

Break the Cycle of Trauma and Disconnection
Embed resilience-building strategies and protective factor education into every service, helping families create sustainable safety networks and break patterns of crisis-based involvement.

Our Values

At Break The Chain, LLC, we are guided by a deep commitment to dignity, equity, and healing. We believe that every individual deserves to be treated with respect and compassion, regardless of their past or circumstances. Our work is rooted in trauma-informed care, recognizing the lasting impact of adversity and prioritizing emotional and psychological safety in every interaction.

We center families in everything we do, focusing not just on compliance but on building real capacity for change. We believe families thrive when they are supported, not punished. We are committed to equity and inclusion, honoring the diverse backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences of the people we serve, while advocating for fair and accessible services.

We hold space for both growth and accountability, guiding parents with honesty and empathy as they work to create safer environments for their children. We value the power of lived experience, integrating peer support into our model to show that restoration and reunification are possible.

Collaboration is at the heart of our approach—we work alongside families and systems to create shared solutions, not top-down mandates. Above all, we believe in prevention through connection: when families are connected to consistent, caring support, they are far more likely to remain stable, break harmful cycles, and thrive long after formal services end.
